We are a church full of rich history and a bright future. High Point Church has a reputation for introducing God’s people to the freedom purchased for them through Jesus Christ and having a relationship with the Holy Spirit.

The mantle carried by Pastor Don Van Hoozier for several decades has now been taken up by Pastor Trey Dickerson, where great and glorious things have been promised. So if you are looking for a family that is fervently seeking the heart of the Father and of the Son, come worship with us!

Frequently Asked Questions

What are the beliefs and doctrines of High Point Church?
We are considered a full gospel church, believing that the Book of Acts is still being written through the Body of Christ today. We teach that the Bible is divinely inspired and infallible; acceptance of the atoning work of Jesus Christ is the only way to heaven; and that the Holy Spirit and His gifts are relevant today and are given to believers to empower them to do the works of God.

Read more about our beliefs here.
Is High point Church part of a denomination?
We make the distinction that we are a non-denominational church. Not that we are against denominations, but rather we do not subscribe to the belief systems of any particular denomination. However, we are dependent on other denominations in our community for fellowship and cooperation in spreading the good news.
IS THERE A PLACE FOR MY KIDS?
Definitely! We provide ministry to all kids, from infants to 6th graders, during all church services (however, we are not a babysitting service). We use this valuable time to teach kids stories and truths from the Bible on a level they can understand.
HOW SHOULD I DRESS FOR A WORSHIP SERVICE?
We don't have an official dress code for church. Some people dress up, some people dress casually. As a general guideline, wear clothes that are comfortable and appropriate for coming to worship the One True and Living God.
