Greetings, High Pointers!

I hope you’ve been enjoying this pleasant change in the weather!  Fall is certainly in the air!

Along those lines, I did want to encourage you to check out the October calendar or grab a copy next time you’re at the church because in this coming month, we have a lot of noteworthy events coming up such as a Church Work Day on Saturday, October 10th and a luncheon at the end of the month on Sunday, October 25th.  So be sure to look through the calendar for various events & services coming up!

As for this past Sunday, we had a great time of worship & Word as we learned about how our Good Shepherd leads us beside still waters!  We learned a lot about how to be led by the Holy Spirit and what He leads us with – waters of peace & rest!

Here’s our schedule for the week:

1.  The Pastor’s Study live video will be held on Tuesday night @ 5:30 this week!   We are currently studying the Book of Ephesians and are in a really good part of it in the first chapter.  So join us on our Pastor’s Study Facebook group Wednesday night!

2.   Our Wednesday Evening Prayer / Bible Study group meets on Wednesday night @ 7 PM.  Come join us for these great times of fellowship, as we study the Bible and pray together!  Come join us in the House of Expectation!

3.  Healing School meets Thursday morning @ 10:30 AM in the House of Expectation.  This week, I will begin looking at the Book of Job and learning how his example teaches of God’s will to heal rather than what is commonly emphasized about his story.  Come hear and be healed!

Always remember – the LORD loves you and wills the best for you!  Let’s think the thoughts He is thinking about us and walk in His good plan for our lives!

Victoriously,
Pastor Trey Dickerson
